Learning Together. Improving Together.
The Early Childhood Networked Improvement Community (EC NIC) is more than a network of organizations.
It’s a community of educators, practitioners, leaders, families, faculty, researchers, students, and community partners who believe that meaningful improvement happens through collective learning.
Our members bring diverse experiences, perspectives, questions, and expertise. Together, we explore challenges, test ideas, share knowledge, and learn from one another in ways that wouldn’t be possible working alone.
Because some of the most important learning happens when people from different roles, disciplines, and systems have space to think together.
Who Participates?
The EC NIC welcomes individuals from across the early childhood ecosystem, including:
- Educators and practitioners
- Program leaders and administrators
- Families and caregivers
- Faculty and researchers
- Students and emerging professionals
- Early intervention and early childhood special education professionals
- Mental health and health professionals
- Community-based organizations
- Policy and advocacy partners
- Philanthropic and systems leaders
Whether you’re supporting children directly, leading organizations, conducting research, shaping policy, or preparing for a future career in the field, your perspective contributes to our collective learning.
What Connects Us?
Our members may come from different backgrounds and roles, but they’re connected by a shared commitment to:
- Learning alongside others
- Exploring complex challenges with curiosity
- Bridging research, practice, and lived experience
- Improving outcomes for young children and families
- Building stronger systems through collaboration
- Generating knowledge through inquiry and improvement
The EC NIC isn’t built around having all the answers.
It’s built around asking better questions, learning together, and improving over time.
Meet Our Members
The strength of the EC NIC comes from the people who make up our community.
Our members represent a wide range of organizations, disciplines, roles, and experiences across the early childhood ecosystem. Through collaboration, inquiry, and shared learning, they help generate new knowledge and advance improvement efforts that support young children, families, and the systems that serve them.
Members who choose to participate in the public directory will be featured below.
